Located in the historic region of Colares, on the hills of the Sintra mountain range, the Casal Sta. Maria vineyards offer a beautiful landscape overlooking the sea, on the westernmost point of continental Europe.
The vines were planted in 2006 by Baron Bodo von Bruemmer, at the time aged 96 years old, to produce great quality wines that convey the unique terroir of this estate, which was his passion, while respecting the environment and dignifying the region. “It’s never too late” was his favourite motto and we wanted to immortalise this on all the back labels of these unique wines. Redesigning the image twenty years later, we have respected the brand’s full identity and noble character.

This producer is proud to have two DOC Colares wines in its portfolio: a Malvasia and a Ramisco planted in sand. For these, we drew inspiration from the image of the great classics from this centenary region to evoke the history and tradition of these rare wines.
To expand our extensive portfolio, we also created an extremely charming new rosé. We named it Mar de Rosas, to echo the touching story of the five thousand roses planted by Baron von Bruemmer when his wife passed away, and which today continue to embellish the garden of this estate that stretches out over the sea.
