Concept / Naming / Packaging
It is under the intense Beja heat, at Herdade do Monte Novo e Figueirinha, that surprisingly fresh and elegant wines are produced by a devoted family with great pride in its land.
We began by creating a new institutional image. We drew a logo by hand, which has adopted the name the estate is known by, Figueirinha. A short and strong name that, in itself, evokes the sun and the south.

To define the concept of the brand and its wines, we used one of the major Alentejo symbols as a differentiating element: the colloquialism of the Lower Alentejo. Thus, each wine is revealed through its name: “Nã te rales”, an expression that means “don’t worry”, conveys these people’s serene attitude and provides the name for the laid-back, entry-level wine range for every occasion; “Tã Somente” (Only), the name chosen for the wine range produced from a single variety. The wines “Cantando” (Singing) are an expression of the estate’s terroir, where the two varieties sing a refreshing song to cool the Beja heat.
“Nôte” (Night), is a special wine made from Alicante Bouchet, intense and dark like the night.
As the high point of an exceptional range, we also developed the image for the wine Comendador Leonel Cameirinha, a tribute to a beloved father and grandfather, the founder of this adventure. Since this family is also a great olive oil producer, this complex portfolio had to include “Azête”.
This is a project with strong roots, which conveys the pride to be and speak Alentejano. It was on this intangible heritage, the population’s colloquialism, that we built a modern, consistent and seductive range that is also an expression of gratitude for its origins.
