Strolling through the Herdade da Mingorra vineyards, it is common to see a partridge suddenly jump from the bushes and cross our path. We were immediately fascinated by the bird’s colours and determined attitude. It was in this brief encounter that the partridge naturally became this project’s main character.
Its presence is not only a sign of the estate’s natural wealth and biodiversity, but also one of the reasons that attracted the Uva family to this land. Embracing this identity, we gave it a new dimension and meaning, thus giving way to the concept Mingorra, land of partridges.
We gave these wines a modern image, inspired by the feathers of the traditional Portuguese partridge, in unique shades to create a range that is unforgettable and full of character.
